BBMB — Brands by Maria Bennet is operated as a sole proprietorship by Maria Bennet (org. no. 771212-9365), based in Stockholm, Sweden, and is the data controller for personal data processed through this website. For any privacy matter, contact us at info@bbmb.se.

When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, company (optional), the area you're interested in, and the message you write. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry and to discuss whether and how we might work together. Legal basis: your consent and our legitimate interest in answering people who reach out.

Apart from what is described under “AI assistant & voice”, we don't ask for, or want, any more than that. There are no accounts to create, and we don't build advertising profiles about you.

The chat on this site is an AI assistant, not a person. What you type, or say using the microphone, is sent to Anthropic, the company behind the AI model Claude, so that it can write a reply. If you turn on sound, the text of the assistant's reply is sent to ElevenLabs, which turns it into speech. Anthropic and ElevenLabs are service providers we use for this, and data sent to them may be processed outside the EU/EEA.

Conversations are saved. What you write and what the assistant replies are stored in our database (Supabase, hosted in Stockholm), together with a random conversation number and the time of the last message. Your browser keeps the same conversation number in its local storage so you can continue a conversation. Conversations are deleted automatically 12 months after the last message. If you want a conversation deleted sooner, email info@bbmb.se and tell us roughly when you wrote it. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you and in keeping the service safe.

If you write your email address in the chat, the conversation so far is emailed to us so that we can get back to you. That copy is handled like an enquiry and kept as described under “How long we keep it”. Please don't write sensitive information in the chat, such as health details or personal identity numbers. To protect the service against misuse (the chat, the voice and the contact form) we also keep a counter per visitor in our database, which includes your IP address and a timestamp. These counter rows are deleted automatically after about two days.

The microphone is only used when you press the microphone button and allow it in your browser. Your browser's built-in speech recognition turns your speech into text. We do not record, receive or store your audio. How the audio is handled is decided by your browser: in some browsers, such as Chrome, the audio is sent to the browser maker's servers to be turned into text. See your browser's own privacy information.

Enquiries reach us by email and are stored with our email provider on servers within the EU/EEA. We do not sell your data, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing.

We keep your message for as long as we need it to reply and, if we begin working together, for the duration of our engagement and any period required by law. After that, it is deleted. Chat conversations are covered under “AI assistant & voice”.

No advertising cookies, ever. We don't run ads or build advertising profiles about you.

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used — which pages are visited, roughly where visitors come from, and what device they use — so we can improve it. Analytics cookies are switched off by default and are only set if you choose “Accept” in the cookie banner (Google Consent Mode). You can decline, and the site works exactly the same. IP addresses are anonymised, and Google acts as our data processor; some data may be processed by Google. Legal basis: your consent.

Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage. You can change it any time by clearing site data, or email info@bbmb.se with any question.

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict how we process it, and to receive your data in a portable form. Email info@bbmb.se and we'll help you.

If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY), imy.se.
